  • Saturday, March 9th at 11 am to 1 pm - Tech Day

  • Tuesday, March 12th at 11 am - St. Patty's Day Story & Craft*

 Programs designed for ages 5 to 12:

  • Wednesday, March 13th at 10:30 am - Tie Dye Shirts* (shirts provided - $5 donation appreciated)

  • Thursday, March 14th at 11 am - Grundy Lake Prov. Park: Large Mammals*

  • Friday, March 15th at 11 am - Georgian Bay Biosphere Reserve: Seed Starting & Veggie Gardening*

Program for ages 12+ only

  • Thursday, March 14th at 1 pm - Wood-burning with Burnt by Holly*

*Children and YA programs require registration.

Babysitting Course $75 (age 10+) - Registration is FULL

The Babysitting Program with First Aid & CPR/AED for ages 10 and up will prepare kids to be a fantastic babysitter! Our goal is to instill in them the confidence and abilities they need to keep children safe, make good decisions, keep the kids happy, and healthy while in their care. Babysitting has the potential to increase and deepen the sense of responsibility that older kids have when caring for smaller youngsters.

Course includes: Babysitting Work booklet, Babysitting Business Resume, Babysitting Certificate of Completion, and mini first aid kit.

Located in the library auditorium (not wheelchair accessible)

Home Alone Course $60 (age 9+)

Saturday, March 16th • 9:30 am to 12:30 pm

The Home Alone course with First Aid for ages 9 and up prepares our youth to start to stay home alone in small time periods. What if a child misses their bus in the morning and you are gone to work? We will teach them what to do. What if you are late getting off work or run into traffic and are 30 mins late getting home? We teach kids to make smart and safe decisions while being home alone. What if they eat a snack and choke? Don't worry, we cover this!

Course includes: Home Alone Work booklet, Home Alone Certificate of Completion, and a mini flashlight.
